Customer Service

Our customer service reps (Emma, Yoda, Camille, Art and Gail) are standing by the phones ready to help you out if you're having problems with an order. You can call us 10am-3pm EST Monday-Friday at 518-692-0009.

As we may not really be standing by the phone at the exact moment when you call, it may be better to send us an email which we will respond to usually that same evening.

Or, when all else fails, you can send us a hand-written note, addressed to:

Lazygoose USA, Inc
305 Cottrell Road
Greenwich, NY 12834

Problems Ordering

If you encounter problems during the order process, contact us using one of the methods above, and be sure to provide us with enough details to determine what's happending, including:

  • At what point in the process you encountered problems
  • What the problem was
  • What Web browser and version you are using
  • What payment method you are using (but not the payment details!)

About Our Frame Selection

Since we are at the mercy of our suppliers, we reserve the right to substitute any frame for one that is, at the very least, comparable in value and in esthetics that the one shown on our website. And unfortunately, we are not in the position to substitute frames at our customer's request.

FAQs for Lazygoose USA, Inc

1. Do you have a catalog?

No, not quite yet. But we expect to have one available in the not-to-distant future. When one is finally printed, we will post an announcement on the home page of the web site.

2. How can I submit an idea for a new product?

We love your thoughts! Ideas for several of our best products have come from suggestions made by those in Lumby's Circle of Friends as well as from several of Art's followers. If you have a compelling idea for a product you would like us to offer, please complete the product suggestion form. Or, you can send us an email at customerservice@lazygooseusa.com explaining your suggestion. Worst case, jot down your thoughts on a napkin and mail it to:

3. Is there other Art Poulin artwork I can buy? And can I buy it from this site?

Part 1 of the question: Absolutely! Most of Art's originals are now in galleries across the country. But Art has held on to some originals that still hang at his studi at Lazy Goose. Those originals on canvas along with all limited edition (signed and numbered) giclee reproductions on both paper and canvas are available from www.artpoulinstudios.com (where you can also find the galleries that represent Art).
Part 2 of the question: Unfortunately, you can not buy a product that you see on artpoulinstudio.com on this web site. They are two different companies, and our accountant would either shoot us or quit if we allowed those kinds of cross-overs. Sorry.

4. Is Lazy Goose Farm open to the public?

That's an interesting question that we've been wrestling with for the last few months. Lazy Goose Farm is equally a home and a place of work, where Art paints and Gail writes. Both Gail and Art have deadlines that need to be met, so a constant flow of folks wouldn't be really conducive to their productivity.

However, we'd like to positively reply to all the requests we have received from folks who want to experience Lazy Goose first hand. So, we're planning on opening Lazy Goose up a few days each month, perhaps on the first and third Saturdays. This would probably begin in March (for those who are crazy enough to try our driveway before spring), so touch base with us in December to get the specifics.

5. When is the next Lumby novel coming out?

The Promise of Lumby will be released by Penguin NAL on July, 2009. Autographed copies will be available on this website a week or two before-hand.

6. Can I pre-order The Promise of Lumby?

As soon as we get a final retail price from Penguin (that should be coming in a few weeks), we will add it to the product list so you can purchase an autographed copy of the book in advance. However, we won't get our copies much sooner than bookstores, so it will still be July until your next Lumby adventure.

7. When will the Lumby novels be available on tape of CD?

Great question that we are asked regularly. Penguin NAL currently holds the audio rights to the first four books and they are looking at recording the books. If they opt not to, there are other alternatives that we will explore to see if we can get audio copies to those folks who would enjoy listening to Lumby. Stay tuned for news on this front.

8. How can I become a Lazygoose USA retailer?

  • Have a valid resale certification and a Federal EIN number

9. What's this tag "Made in America?"

Everything we make at Lazygoose USA is made in America. Also, all of our purchased products (such as frames, mugs, and even shipping cartons) are bought from American companies or American suppliers. Period.

10. What does "2 for 2" mean?

Although we're a young company and our donations are nominal, it’s a start. Lazygoose USA, Inc. has committed a combined 2% of its net revenues to 2 charitable organizations that Art and Gail support. 1% of net revenues will go the First Book (
www.firstbook.org), a charity that Art endorses, and 1% will go to Conservation International (www.conservation.org), Gail's preferred charity.
